PICNIC AND OPENING  CEREMONIES: There will be a Skills Competition at the City of Sarasota Sports Complex and Ed Smith Stadium on Saturday, July 19, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in conjunction with the player picnic on site. Each team will be asked to provide a different player for each of two contests: home run and base-running, and four players for an around-the-horn competition. The awards for the skills competition will be given between innings of the Sarasota Reds game. Players and coaches will parade into the stadium with banners and official replicas of state flags beginning at 4:55 p.m. staging for the parade will begin at 4:40 p.m. Entry to Opening Ceremonies and Sarasota Reds game included with advance purchase of $40 tournament pass either on the order form provided in packet or at Registration. Advance tickets for Opening Ceremonies and Sarasota Reds game may be purchased in advance for $4.00 on separate order form included in packet. Tickets purchased at the gate for Opening Ceremonies and Sarasota Reds game will cost $5.00
